When I took my shades off I placed them on top of the pram sun screen and turned to pick a few bits off the shelf, not noticing my son knocking them off. Bought two pairs of these for my boys on the odd chance that the sun comes out on holiday. They are well made - quite robust so should take a bit of rough treatment. The lenses are proper polaroid UV, so they will adequately protect young eyes. They are a good fit for my 7 and 9 year olds but I'd say would be a too small for kids over 10. I've put them on a 4 year old and they were a good fit so they will cope with a wide age range.
Most importantly, the kids think they are stylish so are happy to wear them.
