best miami hotel book, which is a charming period drama if a little short.So it was with bated breath and great expectation that I watched the newly adapted Ballet Shoes on Boxing Day...I thought the story was fairly true to the book, with the exception of the confusing relationship between Garnie, Theo Dane and John Simpson. In the book, no such relationship was even hinted at as Mr Simpson was married and conducted himself far more as a family friend. Nana and Garnie were very well cast in my view, Richard Griffiths as Great Uncle Matthew was not and didn't seem comfortable in his two cameo appearances. The lodgers however, had far more interaction with the girls in the book than they do in this dramatisation, which was a great shame as much of the girls' characters, such as strengths and weaknesses and aspirations were explored more fully in their relationships with these 'extended family' members.Some parts of this drama were too modern for me; Garnie never would have given way in front of the girls the way she (Emilia Fox) portrayed. The girls in the book were brought up well and did not Belarus is and I loved it. Carefully plotted, the tale absorbs you from the start with a credible protagonist and a great sense of location. The clues are there throughout the book if you look for them but there are many twists along the way and, unusually, I didn't guess the outcome. I look forward to reading more by A J Waines.
The story was absorbing and I began to feel that I actually knew the people and their personalities; whilst there were some twists in the story that I enjoyed, it was the sense of being part of the events that really drew me in. It had a touch of modern Dickens about it in the way that it explored ordinary lives that were not ordinary.
First book I have read by this author. Just could not stop reading it until the book was finished. Such an easy read. Will certainly be reading other titles by this author.
Real page turner. Great holiday read. Would read more from the author after this. Good ending made it very entertaining.

I am exceptionally pleased with these shoes. You get what it says on the tin - TOUGHEES! They fit comfortably for my daughter and after two weeks of intensive school wear they look as though they have just been taken out of the box. I will be buying these again once she grows out of this pair. Excellent quality and value for money.

i bought that size 5 which was just a bit big for my feet so I would reckon maybe going half a size smaller than you usually are or just wearing extra socks. Box was slightly battered, but I think that was more from the delivery. Great price and delivered within a couple of days.

I really do like these for the convenience, they are well turned out.I found they are generously sized, using my normal shoes size thick socks were already catered for, and maybe a little more besides. Wellies are normally a slightly sloppier fit though, so it's fine.If I was buying again AND they did half sizes I would quite possibly elect to try a half size smaller.It is possible I may get an additional pair one size smaller for Summer, when thick socks are rather less likely.

I bought this one just seeing it form NB ! And I am so disappointed with it. It's so heavy and it's all closed up, in summer my feet gets boiling inside. There is no ventilation / holes.No-No for walking/sport. May be good for snow / rain conditions.

This is my third pair of Asics in a row but the first time I have tried the Cumulus. I chose this particular model as it is a neutral running shoe with less heal to toe drop (compared to my previous Kayanos) and I also wanted something with more forefoot cushioning for middle distance training runs (compared to my previous GT2000s).The positives for me are that the Cumulus delivers great cushioning and stability while feeling light and uncumbersome. For this my knees are grateful. Buying online I have not had any size discrepancy issues either. The colouring is pretty bright but good for dawn/ twilight runs when extra visibility on the roads helps.The negatives are that the toe is a bit blocky when pushing off which I don't love and the rear heel rises up quite high creating the first problem I have ever had with friction on my achilles heels. Just to make that latter problem even more awk.
Genuine Arsenal are highly recommended.
what a game, what a day. i am one of the lucky fans who saw the game from pitch side and will never forget it. now everyone can own the memory. if there are any spurs fans who dont own this dvd then its about time they did. an absolute must buy....
It was such a great disappointment. Not the game (come on you Spurs!!!), but the quality of the DVD. Keeps jumping loads. Takes away the joy. Shame. Alsas present so won't know until later. However I have bought these for her big sister so they have clearly made an impact.

The shoes look nice and are comfortable but the fit is too big even though they are my normal shoe size.
These look lovely. The colour was a really lovely ginger, not what I was expecting which was more mustard. I always buy size 4/37 but unfortunately (and it's me not Fly due to a couple of foot ops) one foot felt tighter than the other. I so wanted these to be right. As with a lot of my Fly shoes they have the comfortable rubber sole which is so easy to walk on. If you get it right with Fly you'll keep trying and buying as I do. Thank you Amazon for having such a buy and return system which has been invaluable for me at the present time.

I saw these shoes somewhere else but i decided to shop around and found they were cheaper on Amazon. I love the colour. I know they are just grey but i like it. They are comfortable. Before i purchased them, i read the other reviews and was a bit worried as some people wrote that they ordered their normal size and found they didn't fit as they were too big. I'm a size 4, i ordered a 4 and they fit perfect! The only little niggle i have about them is that the laces are too long, but that is something and nothing. It is easily put right.
look nice, order a size 7 and they were a little big, wished id gone down a size but for the price they will see my holiday threw
these plimsoles are lovely but unfortunately WAY too big for me, I ordered size 3 and they were at least 2 sizes too big had to send them back and it cost me over .
